Terms of use
Last updated: October 2026
Scriptnib is a private, invitation-only writing tool run by David Borges. By using it you agree to these terms.
Your work is yours
You own everything you write and upload. Scriptnib claims no rights over your screenplays or novels, and it does not use them to train any AI model.
Scriptnib only stores your work and shows it to you and the people you share it with. Two things send parts of it elsewhere, both of them because you asked: Read aloud passes the lines you play to OpenAI to be spoken, and a connected AI app reads what you point it at. What each of those reaches is set out in the privacy policy.
Using Scriptnib
- Keep your password to yourself, and only share work you have the right to share.
- Don't use Scriptnib to break the law or to harm anyone.
- Accounts can be closed if these terms are broken.
No guarantees
Scriptnib is provided as it is. It is backed up every night, but keep your own copies of anything important (Export and Download are there for that). It may change, pause or stop.
